The Colorado gaming industry
gives back to its community through many charitable causes. Over the
past ten years, some of these include:
- Partnerships with national charitable
organizations such as United Way
- Annual golf tournaments to support the
Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation
- Employee participation in Big
Brothers, Big Sisters, The Bridge Project, Habitat for Humanity
- Holiday food and toy collections for
needy families
- CASA - (Colorado Court-Appointed
Special Advocate Program) which helps guide minor children through the
court system
- The Make-A-Wish Foundation
A national survey of gaming industry
employees found that 75% of respondents had personally contributed time
and money to charities and community organizations in the last year.
